Fundamentals:
Awkwardness is normal when you first walk into a martial arts academy, you may even feel a bit intimidated. We don’t blame you, but we guarantee it’s the hardest part: getting your foot through the door.
This class is for those who have little to no experience with martial arts or martial arts the Gracie Way. With our Introduction Class, you will learn the basic fundamentals and movements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) done the Carlson Gracie Way.
Mixed Ranks:
Mingle with all belt levels in the academy. Having first-hand experience with different styles and levels of jiu-jitsu is not only humbling, but it makes your journey much more colorful. Come with an open mind and a lot of questions. This class is fun!
Women’s Self Defense/Jiujitsu Classes
This is an all women course and is designed for that everyday women. Come join our female instructors as they show techniques and concepts catered specifically to women that can be implemented on and off the mats. These classes touch on some serious topics, but our Lady Bulldogs make sure that you’re learning and having a great time doing it. Classes are for newcomers and experienced alike— come join us!
Open Mat:
The name pretty much says it all. This is a non-instructed class, giving your free reign on your jiu-jitsu molding. So whether you’re working on a technique to add to your arsenal, or have a list of questions for your instructors, or just wanted to get a few rolls in with your fellow teammates, this is the perfect time to do it! This is a class all students should attend.
Kids/Youth and Teens:
Children will first learn basic body mechanics and movements, helping them to become more familiar with how their body works. With this, they will be more in-tune and accepting for jiu-jitsu techniques. Not only will this achieve a more active and healthy lifestyle, but the kids will have fun doing it!
With the right balance of discipline, humility, leadership, and respect, children will see the importance of being a great representative in school and in our community.
